my husband and i are heading east,wondering what the strzlecki track is like?
we are farmers so are used to rough gravel roads, did the
gibb river road last year.we have landcruiser ute and camper trailer.

maroni last year it was pretty good but suggest you consider what it may be like when you get there if there is to be more rain. The Strzlecki Track is listed here at the Roads South Australia site or David has a reference in his post to the new Road conditions report listed under On The Road
Was doing 90 kmh last year or so til it got slippery last year and easy to spin and roll as friends accounted

Normal situation is a graded gravel road - it is not a track any more - but can be very, very stony in parts - even the old Strz track above Merty Merty (not the Moomba road section) is still a sandy road mostly - seems we have to get "way out" now to find a real "track".
