Has anyone come across fibreglass panels? I need a new door and guard after a truck sideswiped me and did a runner this morning. Having seen the cost of new steel replacements, I thought I'd
check the fibreglass ones, however I dont know of anyone that sells them, or the prices they go for. Have heard plenty of good reports about them though.
Im wondering if they are all fibreglass, or if theres metal reinforcing etc, and how they handle scratches from shruberey. I have seen pics of people denting them in and popping them back out without dramas- is this right? Are they sprayed or dyed to get that flexibility without paint cracking?
Failing that, anyone got a spare 80 series drivers side guard, door or
snorkel sitting around?

Im losing a grand on excess because of age and other stuff- I thought if I could, $1k would go a decent way towards a new fibre panel and help me on the weight problems at the same time.

Fibreglass Replacement Panels I think they're called Ben.
Ads are on Country TV channels from time to time. Prices won't be any cheaper than steel though I think you'll find. Will catch you at next meeting and see how you went
