Anyone had any issues with Goodyear ATS?
They seem like a good compromise between AT & MT.

Had them on an earlier Prado and they were excellant and probably one of the least known/used tyres. I think they are equivalent to 10 ply.

They do look the goods, I was going to put them on but ended up with the Goodyear MTR's and am very happy with the discision. Yes the MTR's are a little noiser but that's about the only comprimise, you get the advantages of the 3 ply sidewalls, better mud evacuation etc etc.

I'd have a serious look at the MTR's, the only muddy with silica compound in them for on road handling. They are brilliant in the wet on road too!

Agree with Jeff.

I've had MTR's on the GQ and GU now and I can say that they handle fantastically in the wet. One of my mates folks run AT Goodyears on a GQ stocko and they seem to be happy. Obviously, if you aren't going to do offroad work, may not be financially viable to get MTR's. But they are awesome.

Cheers.
