Old Bushie
Gday
I think my last post prob got lost before a 100s TD owner read it.
I have travelled the CSR numerous times but always in petrol Landcruisers. I am aware of the generic fuel consumption figures available for 6 cyl diesel on this website.
I would appreciate hearing from 100s TD owners who have driven CSR on what their actual fuel consumption was.
Regards

Hi Old Bushie
We did it two years ago in a 2001 100s TD Auto
I have Long Range tank (total of 266litres)
I failed to
check odo at
Kunawarritji, but including the top up at
Kunawarritji and then at
Marble Bar we used 318 litres for a distance of 2101 kms
Thats 15.1 litres per 100km or in the old stuff 18.7 mpg
We went via
Kunawarritji, Wapet Road (Kidson Track) Punmu, Telfer
Mine Road, Carawine to
Marble Bar.
On a trip earlier this year we did the
Holland Track with
Kimberley Kamper Trailer and got 18.9 litres per 100kms (15mpg) between
Hyden and
Coolgardie.

Thanks for the info Trekkie.
After owning petrol landcruisers and doing simillar trips I have been scratching my head a bit re the new diesel truck. Have only done 7000km, mainly highway and heavy sand towing my boat. Results have been mixed. I am about to do "the loop" again Anne Beadell, Tanami,
Gibb River Rd and
home via the CSR so a few spots where definitive consumption figures are needed.
Thanks again for the reply
