Hi,
Anyone know what's happened about the Vietnam Vets trying to get a slice of Kalpower, did it work?? Also where is it that they are claiming??
Don't have a major opinion either way but wouldn't it be good if we all could, as minority groups, make a claim for crown land.

Similar angle, very different reasons.
Lets not put that insignificant bleep ant with a fax machine in the same league as these veterans.
Those guys got the ruff end of the pinapple from the goverment and the great unthinking unwashed public for doing what they had been sent to do, scruby was probably one of THOSE.
If by makeing some noise they can achieve their aim, good on them. Its not much to ask for what was given in the past.

Hi,
Are u talking about Kalpower Crossing? Its a great spot to visit on the way to The Cape--we met a Vietnam vet on the way up a couple of years ago & he said to call in there--
free camping over the crossing in the area they were trying to claim(dont know whether they were successful).
