We were up there about 3 weeks ago. Some of the
camp sites now closed and tracks getting muddy. Everything
well signposted and maps are pretty clear. A lot of dirt bikes and quad bikes around. On our way out we nearly ran into a rescue chopper landing in the middle of the main road through - a guy had gone over the side on his bike and broken both legs and an arm. Paramedics needed our 4WD recovery gear to get down the side to him. We headed off before he was brought up and so we don't know how he is now - I hope is he's
well (if anybody know's it would be good to know).

Hi all just finished the day trip tp toolangi WOW what a day did the rocky track first up and broke the partol rear control arm but made it to the top was happy with the car considering std lsd in rear and no lockers .Had to limp back to toolangi general store were we got the use of a mig welder to brace rear arm had a quick look up some of the other roads you boys suggested should be real fun when open. Some of those bog holes at west end of vic range road are huge couldnt get the hilux trough that was with us propobly not the patrol either .The day was fantastic though thanks for your help in track names etc ....
