Jack fan
G'day all,
With the rising cost of diesel, im wondering what can i do to improve the consumption of the auto jack. it's only done 30,000km and city driving only seem to achieve 550km - 600km on a full tank, which sounds way to low considering its driven pretty conservatively.
Thanks in Advance Tony

I would be very happy with getting 550-600 K per tank. That works out to be approx 12.2l/100k.Assuming you put about 70l per fill up. My Jack around town, and driven very carefully gets 16.2 l/100k and 12 on the highway(100k/h always). I realise now that yours is a diesel but I would still be happy. Have a look at the Jackaroo site to get a better view

Hi Jack fan , the best I get is 10/100 in my manual but generally around 11/100.
I also take it pretty easy and it doesn't vary much whether around town or on the highway.
Cheers Dave L.

Just finished a 2 tank test on my 99 TD SE manual Jack - 10.3L/100km around town - mainly flat roads and a very light foot.
