Dont know about the AT's but I had Cooper ST's on my GQ and I had done 40,000km on them when I took them off and they were still at half tread, I was very happy with the overall performance and wear, based on the wear I would have expected at least 80,000km out of them, only took them off as I bought a new GU 2005 STL and put the Mags and Coopers off of the old GQ onto my Camper trailer, bit of over kill on the camper trailer but they do look good, the only down side of the ST's was the road noise but they are an aggressive tread pattern.

Cheers

Very bad chipping, & cracking at the base of the edge lugs, also excessive wear rate, after 23,000km. Tyre service said they were fine, until I said, OK I'll trade them in then ....... reply was ... they are stuffed & not worth anything!
I have now got Firestone RMT, 2/3 the price with no chips, no cracking, wearing well & grip well, although slightly noisier, but hey, at $175 each, I can put up with that as it is only marginal!

Forgot to mention that I rotated & balanced them every 5,000kms & alignment every 10,000kms!
I was also very conscious to air up & down as required off road.

awill4x4 also has ST's that are only round 12 mths old, they are cracking at the BASE of the lugs, and he does 80% onroad and towing a van.

Note: no idea on the ST-C's if they are any better

Sorry I haven't got back to you sooner but I have been away in the Flinders Ranges, my experience with the ST's so far has been all good, great off road in all types of country and no cracking as mentioned in previous threads most of my off road is in the rocky country in the north of Sth Australia and I rotated them every 10,000 but never worried about getting them balanced or wheel alignment as the wear was even and slow wear rate as I said before done 40,000 and still at half tread, All good for me so I would not get too worried
Happy Off roading.
