Shoalhaven River camping

Hi all,

In a previous archive topic, I was able to get some great info regarding some NSW camping locations. I've visted a few of them you guys suggested!

I'd like to try and get more specific locations on possible sites alongside the Shoalhaven River. Is there any bush camping spots or free/cheap places? I notice (from the previous thread) there is a place called Coolendel, however looking for other alternatives along the river.

Hey Gu,

I plugged those coords in on the Natmap viewer and I am interested to know if that spot is on private property or not. Whats the spot like?

Not private property.

Large area with grass tall trees, some sandy areas, access to the water/beach for some sand driving or kids playing, the ford is close by, on a minor 2wd access rd, suitable for caravans, camper trailers.... free....
Excellent spot but used to be even better, since they installed the gas pipe in the area, its not as good but still OK.
