Not sure that this will help but here goes.
Looking in 4wd books they seem to vary state to state in what they are worth.
We just traded in a 97 2.8TD RX, excellent condition, body and interior, bullbar, towbar,cd player, duel batteries, snorkel, full log books, 80%tyres left,12 months rego, did have 245,000klm on clock, ran like a dream, no oil leaks. We only got $14,500, some people said that was good becuase of the high klm, we thought it was worth at least another $4000. Were in NSW.. Michele

Redbook say its worth somewhere between 26k to 31k

That is with 15000kms average:

Red Book Code NISS99CL
1999 NISSAN PATROL

GU Wagon ST 7st 4dr Man 5sp 4x4 4.2DT (May onwards)
average kms 120,000 - 150,000
Trade in price guide* $23,700 - $27,400
National average price - private sale* $26,600 - $31,100
Price when new (RRP) $53,990
all prices quoted are GST inclusive

With 75000kms and those accessories, private you should be able to get $38000 or thereabouts, they are not very easy to find second hand and with those low kms...

GU, Accessory’s mean bugger all in the car trade in game, they are basically sweeteners that make the car easer to sell, Privately you can ask a bit more for it but don’t go crazy. The only thing that matters are k’s, which are fairly low, and how old it is and it is basically 6 years old.

For a 4WD like this one I would be prepared to pay around $34,000 extreme upper limit. You could probably get more all depends on how long you are willing to try and sell it for.

Trade in you would get the same as someone with a 99 stock patrol probably a little more due to the k’s.

The Patrol is an ST and it`s in Tassie it is like new and $31,000 would be the buy of the year. It looks like something in the late 30k range would be the go.

Theres one in the trader section here for $24,000 but its 98 mod with more klms.

you wont get high 30's unless you sit on it for while.
trading post theres later models going for high 30's with extras.

I bought a similar spec 1999 4.2TD DX Patrol, private sale in December 2004, on the Sunshine Coast ( Brisbane).
It had 130k on the clock, new tyres and Mags, winch, Cargo Barrier, dual batteries, Spotties, Rear sliding drawer etc.
Paid $30,000 - owner had bought a new Ford F250 and needed to sell.
I had spent some time researching the dealer yards in Brisbane before buying.
They would have asked $35 to $40 for the same vehicle.
(But then their vehicles sat in the yards).
Hope this helps......Regards

Just listed a mates GU in the trader ads for $26000. Immaculate vehicle, low kms & dual fuel at about the same age if it's any help. See the Trader ads.
