It's a product used to re-stick the soles on your shoes.

SHOE GOO

A friend gave me a tube a few days ago because I was whinging about the soles coming off my runners. Runners that were about 2 years old.

They looked like similar to what you've seen before. The toe was completely ripped back to about the ball of the foot on the runner.

Well Im not a believer of these quick fix in a tube products but now I am sold.

This stuff works!

I post this because tents and outdoor stuff you own is also made of leather and rubber and vinyl and the like, and if you've got a rip or a problem you need repaired, it might be worth giving this stuff a go.

It's not the nicest smell when working with it but the finish is brilliant.

These soles arnt coming off in a hurry and I saved $150 on a new pair.

I've tried to pull the soles off a number of times and it's increadible that there is just no give at all.

As I said earlier, I only post this because repairs to your gear can be costly. It's in a red tube.

Hi,

something I've found to make an indestructible and waterproof repair to just about anything flexible is

"Aquaseal" - generally sold to repair waders etc., from fishing/bushwalking/camping shops

Shoe Goo is the best stuff ever invented.
Use for the car, boat, van whatever you want . It goes off fastand comes in black or the flesh colour and it's tough as nails . Any shoe repair store should have it.

Good stuff. I have successfully, quickly and easily repaired tents and ripped waterproof clothing as well as shoes with this.

I've fixe a 10cm wide hole in my back pack and it's almost stronger than the Canvas. Just tape over one side of the material and then apply the stuff to the other side. When it dries peel of the tape and it's 100% sealed and waterproof.

Cheers, Tony.

Use it repair ripped insect screens.

Cut a small piece of plastic fly screen (from hardware shop) in the shape of the tear and shoe-goo it on. The goo goes through the little holes and bonds the whole lot together. Dries so it is not sticky to touch and the sun has no affect. No more mozzies in the tent (or house).

And what's wrong with the smell?
