This may help those people who are going through the mind numbing exercise of trying to decide which tyres to put on their vehicle. I have just put Bridgestone Dueler 694, 265-70-16 at's on my Navara. So far they are excellent in both the dry & the wet, next to no road noise. Running 35 pound pressure in the front & 33 in the rear, unladen. Will now have to wait & see how tyre wear goes but dealer assures me I won't be dissappointed.

Marklynn,
Just to add to your experience,
Michelle and David have been happy with their Bridgestone ATs.
I have been trialling the Bridgestone Dueller Mud Terrains for 3- 4 months now so far they are outperforming the BFG s and MTRs in Mud and general handling - and very similar wet weather braking to the other 2 brands - similar nioise levels. So far the tread is holding up very
well under some very severe rocky trips - will keep you posted.
Generally speaking though if you spend your $260-$300 you will get good tyres - no matter which of the big 4 you use.
cheers

We have only had bridstone duelers on our nissan, 70% of our driving is on dirt, we have got on average 50,000klm from tyres, some may say not enough but we figure because of the amount of dirt they do all right. We have never had a flat tyre, noise is good until they start to wear down to about 30% tread left. We have been using these for 7 years since owning a 4by4

I put the D694 on about 7 months ago. Done about 15K, wear is also great, like new still. However I'm hearing a slight increase in road noise from when they were new.
