chesney- pace maker- aero frame

hi, hope some one can help, my son has bought a chesney 16 foot caravan, the only writting on it is pacemaker and aero frame. he went to get it registered and they want to know the approx year and weight, we have no idea as there isn't any plates on it. if some one can help with any id for this we would be very greatful. we have tried a net surf but nothing comes up under chesney. thanks.

The weight you can get by towing it to the nearest weight bridge. Have a look in the local phone book. As to year of man. Make a guess

there's one problem with that is we need to know the weight to get it reg. and we can't get it weighed at the local weigh bridge without the reg., we were just hoping some one might have/ had one the same or simular so we could put a pretty good guess in, we have only ever had camper trailers and it would be a wild guess from us. we thought we might have to guess the year. thanks anyway.

Had one of these years ago. They stopped production around late 1970s. At a guess the 16ft would weigh around 1200kg empty. They were one of the best vans of their time. Hope this helps. Rod
