GU Patrol rear lights

Hi all, just a quick question,to wire in my high rear lights what sort of sockets do I use and where do I get them?

Thanks for that the crow but I didn't really want to buy complete lights. If I could get the correct globe sockets I could modify the lights to fit them

I went to the wreckers and purchased light sockets from what i think was a Barina
You just need to look at some and decide what you think will do the job
The ones I got were plastic cost $5 for 2x stop tails and 1 for the additional reverse light
You then need to remove lights and drill out blanks with suitable hole saw and then I fitted them in hole sealed in with silastic
Make sure you use quality globes and fit a good earth

young bloke wired up his GU lights by using the internal parts from a 100 Cruiser.Wasn't too big a job, are far as I know.
Bit hard to
check his GU out though as he's 1200 k's away!
May be wothwhile checking the wreckers for alternatives. Perhaps the MQ/GQ bits may fit?
