I have one on my Triton, and the problem is that the pump is reaching full pressure then auto switching off ( like it is meant to do when you turn the tap off ). If you use too large diameter or a too short hose prior to the pump on the intake it will do the same thing. I use a longer hose made of the clear tubing from a hardware store about 10-15mm on the intake and it works well as the intake and output must balance out. Experiment with a tap on your inlet and restrict the flow and you should see what I mean

If you simply use 12mm hose ( garden hose or heater hose, more flexible)for inlet and /or outlet you shouldn't have a problem. We run a hose length from 1m up to 10+m without any problems. As PeteC said, it's all about balance. If the pump flicks on for a second or two with the shower head turned off, you have air entering the system and you need to check all your conections. Happy Camping.
