Anyone been around Davenport National Park in the NT. Is it worth having a look at it.

Alice Springs Tourist Centre.
A very interesting this I found out there were freshwater crabs in some of the pools in the creeks. There is also prolific bird life and some interesting mining relics

Ron we did 4 nights at the Policeman
water hole Birdlife and sunset great. We enjoyed the quite tranquility of the place. This was in October 2003

I have just returned from there. Answer is yes, very worthwhile and good camping by the
waterhole. I have just posted the PLT file on this site (
Plenty Highway direct going north).
Willem, fresh water crabs are still there!
