After just getting prices on both models (SR5 dual cab auto and the SR both with air cond,)I don`t see value in the SR5 with only a hand full extras! that push the price up over $6k, for that sort of cash you could add some good gear to a SR .

I would have to agree with you there. The SR is better value for money. think of all the extras you could get for 6k.

I bought the SR5. Happy with it, but if I had my time again I'd probably get the SR and option it up. I've already removed the sports bar to fit a canopy. Removed the rear step to fit the tow bar I wanted and removed the alloy side steps to fit steel ones higher up. When I fit the bullbar, I'll remove the colour coded bumper.

Paid for a lot of things I've pulled off.

pitboss, if you want to get the SR and then fit some SR5 goodies, I've got them for sale!

Well Norm all that gear that you have removed from your SR5 is the point .
The SR at 6K+ cheaper gives one plenty of cash to invest in some good gear.ARB B/BAR& WINCH, SNORKEL, ALLOY WHEELS 16" AND A/T TYERS,UP GRADE THE SUSP,AND ARB SIDE STEPS ,and may be change! so why would you buy an SR5 what makes it better for 6K?

Ummmm pitboss, don't we agree. Think I said 'if I had my time again I'd probably get the SR and option it up'.

This is you are going to do it up for off roading. If you are after the 'sports unility vehicle' look, the SR5 is great.
