Hi there,

Would anyone out there point me in the direction of a reputable auto transmission place in Brisbane who could install an auxilliary transmission cooler for my GU 4500 patrol (128K) and who will calm my paranoia without having me robbing banks if I say "take it for a drive and tell me what you think".

Thanking you,

Sean.

Thank you for the response. Looks like I will be visiting a few places for an opinion.

Not that there is anything not functioning properly, I would like to know if there is some tweaking that can be done to improve the transmission.

Try Northside Auto Transmissions at sandgate,,the owner drives a 4x4 and is NOT a ripoff merchant as some of the larger dealerships in and around brisbane are,,Axel

If you are on the southside of Brisbane, go to Paul Geary at Springwood phone 38083455. Very good mechanic and very honest. Mal T.
