We are travelling from
Alice Springs to
Laverton in WA via The Great Central Rd in a 2000 or 2001 Triton V6 unleaded vehicle. The only unleaded fuel available out in that area is Opal Unleaded which has a Octane of 91, Sulphur Less than 50ppm, Lead Less than 5mg/lt.
Has any one had any problems or not with Opal fuel?
Can I mix it sucessfully with normal unleaded?
Cheers P&K

We had two unleaded vehicles in our group that topped up with opal unleaded at
Kiwirrkurra last month at a rate of maybe 50/50 and the only thing noticable was white exhaust tail pipes(on the inside),not the usual black. The drivers never mentioned anything unusual.
