Hi Folks
Thinking about getting one fitted.
But first I must ask the real expert....I have a Hilux TD not the new one,the nice looking model before.
does anyone have one fitted to the same model?
does it make it more fuel efficient? Most of all....how much more grunt can I expect.
the brochure sounds impressive but then they usually do.

I put one on my prado, same engine, but intercooled, and you can believe the brochure, just dont be sucked into some of the cheaper products which dont work the same, like altering timing seperate to fuel, like the dtronic which the cheaper ones dont, and really are only a turn of the fuel screw on a mnechanical pump.

From my understanding the Dtronic is just a variable resistor which essentially works like a set screw anyway. They are all cheap ie. electronic components only cost cents.
