Spare wheels on a roof rack

Some time ago I posted a question seeking ideas for lifting spare wheels onto a roof rack. Since then, I met a guy up in the Gulf Country that had a unit designed by a marine engineer which worked reasonably
well.
The unit is not protected by licence (as far as I’m aware). Therefore, in the interests of “bad backs” I’ll meet up with
John from “Outback Idea’s” next Wednesday to improve the idea.
I’ll keep you posted on the outcome
