Can somebody tell me whether it is possible to enter (thru the door) a Jayco Camper Trailer for loading food/provisions, if the roof isn't wound up. If we bought one it would be kept in the garage and we would need to load it prior to heading off but wouldn't be able to wind the roof right up. It is accepted that if you could get in, you would be on your hands and knees !

Yep , thats my understanding , and one of the limits of the Jayco style vans.

They dont make good vans for quick roadside lunch stops.

G'Day BJJ,
You are correct. You can open the half door to load goods when the trailer is closed, although head height is limited. My Jayco is configured so that the folded table is on your right as you enter. I've purchased a number of plastic boxes, of a suitable height, that allows me to utilize the vacant space under the table, as well as behind the door.
Regards,
Bazza.
