Anyone know where you can get the above cheap in Perth? Bunnings used to sell them for around $27 but have discontinued carrying them. I've seen them in Auto One for around $40, but was hoping to get them cheaper than that.

If Bunnings can sell them for $27 (last year) I dont see why others are charging so much for them?

A silly question perhaps, but is it the same Rheem that make hot water systems? If so, I dont think I'll ring them, my message may end up on the internet, but then again, I dont have a leaking hot water system and it isnt urgent yet.

KMart sell the exact version under the "Fuel Safe" brand for under $30. I have both versions, Rheem and Fuel Safe, they even have the same Patent Pending number.

Good idea to wait for a Kmart discount week if the need is not urgent. They regularly have 15% off storewide sales. BigW have had them on sale from time to time too.

I remember Bunnings selling them cheap, they had 2 versions, petrol and diesel. The diesel version was cheaper than the petrol. Don't know why. I bought 2 diesel jerry cans they were good value and good quality

Supercheap have the red plactic Willow brand 20 litre fuel jerry cans on sale for $19.99.

The green steel Rheem jerry cans at Supercheap are $40.

Others here may have thoughts on the plactic vs steel fuel cans.
