Steve
are these things easy to take of/put back on? I'd like one for going away but would like to take it off in between trips so I can get my car back in the garage.

Gday Steve,I guess you could do it two ways. You could take the carrier off at the bearing swivel ass. be a bit messy(grease) and you would be left with the swivel stub sticking up.The other way would be to take the wheel off the carrier,it would stick out a bit further but alot easier.

A 5 minute job. Remove a split pin, undo the castle nut, then lever the arm with the bearings off. I made up a piece of pipe with a nut welded inside to screw over the greasy stub axle.
Cheers Craig...........

I have a Kaymar rear wheel carrier fittied to my 100 and it is a simple matter of fremoving the dust cover. Removing the split pin and undoing the castle nut. I also have a pivot cover which sits over the top of the pivot.
