Hi

We are tying to hook up auxiliary power to our patrol and have all the wiring in but cannot work out how to put a switch into a blank on the dash. We have a 2005 model patrol and have tried to push the blank out from the back and pop it out from the front with no luck. We shone a torch behind the dash and it looks like there could be a couple of screws holding the panel in but don't want to pull the whole thing apart only to find they do pop out after all. The blanks in the last patrol we had did. We hope somebody can give us some hints.

Many thanks

Jeff & Michelle

They hook out from the back.... They have those one way little plastic notches which let them click into their position....
There is a notch on each end which is very hard to get to without having it right in front of your face....
But a little screwdriver should work and heaps of luck....
I thought the screws may have held them in place but i dont think they do...
I have to use the one on the centre console because i had no luck getting the dash one out...
I just used it for spotlights..

Hi
I have a 2005 Patrol and if the blank that you are trying to get out is the one under the rear demister switch I simply removed it from the front using a very thin flat srew driver and it just popped out easily
Good luck
Cheers
