Just installed a new OME steering damper today, and when tightening nut the outside washers on both ends, are not pulling down square on the bushes. The kit damper came with no instructions for fittment so I am presuming that the side of the bush with the raised centre sits facing the mount hole brackets? Is this normal?
Thanks Dicko1980

I reckon the raised area of the washers should be on the side of
the nut (ie: away from the bush). Sort of like this......([])......

The washers are straight forward to install, its the bushes that are a little bit questionable. The bushes are the same at standard nut have a raised nipple around the centre on one side. This nipple fits neatly in the hole that the damper locates in on the car.
