I have the same Nav as Toonfish, well pleased with it (99 3.2 nav diesel non turbo).

I'm desperately seeking a workshop manual for this vehicle as I plan to keep long term, I know enough to do basic servicing and valve clearances, only ones I can find are $500, I just cant justify that on a manual, also I'd buy it and then find it on cd on ebay for $15!
Haynes and Gregorys both say no plans to cover it.

Anyone help with something reasonable?

Toonfish did you ever get one?

Sorry mate cant help you i have searched fa and wide nearly talked a SA dealer into selling me one for $350 but he renegged.
plus you need the d22 book then 2 supplements.
i do have a list of clearances/bearings and basic tuning details that diamond obtained from me .
can photo copy and e-mail ya if you like.
or search a post on downloadable service spec sheets ,not sure where from.
basically most mechanics with Vacc should be able to get these spec sheets for a nominal fee.

sucks doesnt it .
a guy i know does manuals but they have no plans for our model nut pherhaps the zd 30 motor and v6 later on? go figure must go on sales in oz?
or pherhaps just this motor gets more attention than ours lol

let me know if you want it.
cheers

Toonfish,

Thanks mate, I'd appreciate all I can get on it. Found that Nissan fitted in the Terrano Regulus but cant turn up one of those either, also believe the QD32 was fitted in a jap small truck, but still no joy.

There are guys on ebay doing manuals which cover the newer models on cd $15.

Yeah two supplements a 99 and 2000, might not need the 2000, but reckon the 99 would be necessary, its 350 plus the 500, 850 bucks! a mechanic can do a lot of repairs for that!

I know an engine dealer who says the QD32 is a fab engine, not stressed out, and reckons as long as regular oil changes at 5000km including filter and air filter clean out, that they are good for 500,000km.

I have unifilter too, I rotate it around at 5, clean and re-oil every second time. do my own clearances, hardest bit is barring over, I get a spanner, just, on the top pulley and using the belts to turn it. Any better way?

I got OME all round with the big springs, great towing.
