Am looking at buying a Galaxy 2002 model. Has anyone any info on this make?

Merlden, we have a 2003 Galaxy
Southern Cross, approx 16'6" internal with single beds at the back and a fold up bunk bed assembly at the front. We bought it new in 03 after trying hard to find a 2nd hand van that is family friendly. There were plenty of vans for 2 but none for 4 or more and the prices being charged for 2nd hand were very close to new prices anyway.
We're very happy with our Galaxy and even though it's priced competitively we are happy with its quality and construction.

thanks Andrew. we actually had another look at the van, a 17'6" with island bed & closed the deal today. it was encouraging to get a positive response as this is our first van. we are nearing retirement & hope to do a few short trips first before the big one. Appreciate the offer to look at your van but we are at Redland Bay , midway between
Brisbane & the

we have an 02 model with single beds in the front , kitchen mid van , and table etc at the rear.
we are very happy with it
only problem the step at the rear scrapes on the ground at some servos etc with steeper axcess . once you know you make sure you take the drive ways etc at an angle .
would I buy another --- yes

Rod E B. The van we bought today sounds the same as yours except with an island bed.
