F4Phantom
In SA they have a company selling snorkels for most models under $300. 4wd systems is the name. Does anyone know about or own this brand? are they good?

They will probably be Airflow Snorkels made in Victoria, some models may appear a little rough, but I believe the actual air flow dynamics are excellent.

can we buy these snorkels in victoria for the same price or cheaper?? i live in vic so this would be better than sa. A web site, contacts or other details would be handy. Funny about suppost to have good flow, the safari sales guy said this is the exact area where these snorkels suck, bad air flow he said.

Hi there f4phantom I checked all this out prior to fitting one to my hilux, was told by a four wheel drive mob that they dont have as many securing bolts/studs etc holding the
snorkel to the actual vehicle and also proned to droneing makeing it noisy inside the cab so I went for the safari. I actually got my safari through a mate that works for a 4wd place so I got my
snorkel for $330.00 compared to $510.00 over the counter price but hey guess what my drones anyway so go for the one your talking about. I have seen these on many other 4wd and have since spoke to some of them and as long as they are sealed up properly they have had no problems with them. If I hadn't got my'n as cheap as I did I would have got the one from SA. Take Care Steve m

Duncans in melb. Supplied and fitted $425.
Mine was a navarra item fitted to my Terrano. No drone and perfect fit. Duncans could not have been more helpful which is more than i can say for some big melb outlets that were not interested because i had an import.
