I was browsing the archives for info. and saw a Post 14095. Greg Harewood (W138) mentioned he had had his 9323 programmed for $40 in Perth. Can anyone tell me who/where or how to contact Greg harewood?

Are you any good with electronics?
You can program them yourself, but you do need to open the unit up.
And you can only program channels that you can legally transmit on

Hi Peter,

Thanks for the reply. Yes I am good with electronics. I am able to program Tx/Tx channels OK. For some unknown reason CODAN do not allow you to set Tx freqs above 26.5Mhz even though my set has all 40 27Mhz CB channels. Is there some way around this restriction as I would like to add Marine band 27Mhz channels.

By inserting a link inside the transceiver you can Program new memory channels that you will be able to Transmit on.

Go to the Yahoo group for details.
