Hey Guys
It’s been nearly 4 weeks since I logged on and posted something so here goes. I am coming back to Aus in October for 10 days to see everyone and to go on a quick
camping trip. Now the Patrol needs new tires badly. I also want to put the bulbar on and the winch…but is it worth putting everything on for just 10 days? I am so keen to just do it I just don’t know if it’s a good financial thing to do. New tyres, winch bar and winch is going to set me back nearly 4700 all new all for just 10 days???
I just want it all done in one go….should I just do the tires for now and the rest when I move back for good?
Hope everyone is
well
Regards,

I would do it all that then ship the Patrol over to Seattle than you could use it every weekend; I bet the yanks wouldn’t even know what a patrol is.

Hi Troll 81,
It all depends on where you are going before you decide what you really need to spend your money on. Some
camping trips can be done in your Holden Commodore. Let us know where you are going
cheers

I am prob just going out to Landcruiser
park...last time we went out there we got stuck and had to turn around but if I had a winch we could have made it up there??

T 81,
As the slogan says............."Just Do It"
Mate we don't but these rigs to save maoney...hehe
As long as your eventually going to return anyway there's no problem, some people would say that to fly from seattle to qld for just 10 days isn't "worth" it, also you could just let us know where you leave the keys and I'm sure some fellow QLD members would give it a run every now & then for you....:-)
And in general there's better bargaining power the more your prepared to spend.
Cheers Mate..................Browny

Hi Troll 81,
