Catchy snr
Hi all Looking through the Sunday Times in WA there is a photo of the new Jeep doing a
water crossing , they did the right thing and had a snatchem strap on the front already fitted just in case , nice pic and on the other bank was the cruiser ready to hook on to it when it drowns , looks like they haven't got a lot of faith in it's ability to swim . cheers Catchy snr

The Sunday Times is WA's main paper??! Wow, and to think I used that one to wipe the oil spill off the driveway... ;-)

From a trip along the Mundaring Power-Line track on Sunday.

This jeep had gone through a LOT of
water before getting stopped at this
point. Mind you it still kept running, as it was hung up in ruts under the waterline.
When pulled out of the
water (not by a cruiser) it drained out very nicely.

At least it was warm enough for T-shirt and shorts. LOL.

LOL, I love those Sawyers photo's, there's always a couple of beauty's after every trip there! You can see the whole "Whoopsy" Look on his face! That's why under the drivers
seat is not a good place for UHF remote head units and power
inverters...

Saw the photo also but believe that the vehicle waiting behind, with the passenger door open, was a Nissan Safari Gran Road (GQ Nissan Patrol).
