Sorry if you are sick of this topic
I have had a look through the archives and found heaps of info.
Everyone seems to have a preference for certain tyres, I guess it all comes down to our experience, vehicle, terrain, type of driving and just luck off the draw.
Some people swear by certain brands thats others will not touch.
I am up for new tyres for the troopie and have been looking around, I guess I will buy what feels right at the time??
Has anyone had experience with the brad Triangle?? The guy recons they are 10ply in the 265/75r16 size and are strong but need to be run at lower pressures on the road because they are a bit ridgid? only $160 each though?

If you google them, you'll find that they make a range of light truck tyres under license for Dunlop... Not sure if that makes Triangle a reasonable tyre or Dunlop a poor tyre...???

They are a bit rigid because they are a LT construction?
Friend is running triangle 225/75/16 on his Pajero.
Hasn't found any problems after 20,000k.
Gets them for just under $100.00 each, and reckons if they only last 40,000k he is still ahead.
He mainly runs around sth east qld, so not sure what they are like for more remote touring use.

If you are after something on the cheaper side, I am running simex roadtrekker and found them OK. $145.00 ea. But definitely not so good in mud. 235/86/16 for $145.00 ea. At least simex is a bit better known, otherwise I would have gone for the triangle.
