Question 1: For the price difference, is it worth it going to a Turbo 4.2 Patrol as opposed to the standard 4.2 diesel. Looking at around the 93 to 96 models. (Economy/power/less things to break etc)

Q2. How will the 3.0 litre turbo Jackaroo go pulling a 2 tonne boat. If they can do it they look like excellent value for money (Are they Isuzu based?)

Thanks

93-96 patrols werent turbo from factory. unless they are dodgey imports.

so they will be aftermarket and yes, they would be worth going for

I have found a 96 turbo with 170,000 on the clock, photo looks straight at $17990. If you bolt a turbo onto a non-turbo motor with the standard bottom end can they take it?

turbos on TD42's are usually fine, theres 100's of them out there with no hassles.

price seems not bad but you can get 98 GU 4.2's for $24k now.
