I have a 1980 liftup sunwagon camper, does anyone know of a system that will allow me to raise the lid easier rather than a straight lift.

Not sure where your from jjob2 but i think The Camec group have branches in all the eastern states. Give em a Try, they carry a fairly comprehensive range of lifters, you may be able to adapt an early jayco or something similar Good luck & Happy
