After the big dump we had the last couple of days, I was itching to get up the
hill and do a few turns. I took the morning off and went snow boarding before work. Driving up, the hills looked fantastic with snow down to it seems like 500m with snow in all the trees. A winter wonderland. Compulsory chain fitting for the 2wd's. The sky was clear, the snow fresh what more could one ask for!! Oh and then I had to be back at work by 1pm :-(( dam!!

I learned to drive...really drive...in the Scottish highlands in the middle of winter. After that I positively and absolutely hate the mention of the word snow ! :))
Its overcast and by our standards bloody freezing on the
Gold Coast today. Miz er able southern weather, can't wait for summer.

Qld weather is perfect, it is when it is imported from down south that it becomes a little strange and unbearable :-)
