Hello boys and girls and children
To all of you who came with me to gembrook about 3 weeks ago. I have just got the video part from Paul that has me down the bottom in the mud bog hole before the huge streep
hill climb.
I would like to thank you for the confidence you all had standing at the top of the
hill, like,
"he is f@cked", "thats it", "no way he is alright, look how boggy that is".... hahaha
Well na na na nah to you all, cause as i recall the jack and i were the only one to do that track, and i must say that is the first time i have heard the jack on video, geez its sounds great...
GO THE MIGHTY JACK!!!!!! hahaha
you never know when a video is recording...

....bloody videos....you know we all had the utmost confidence you were going to make it LOL. Anything audio on that video to the contrary must have been dubbed in.
Oh....ok....Yep..I'll put my hand up. I thought 1. you were going to sink in that bog hole, or 2. You were going to burn the clutch out, or 3. you were going to come toppling back down that
hill either end on end or via a sideways roll. I was actually quite concerned that a major 4wd mishap was occurring right before our eyes LOL.
But no, none of the above came into being. Added a bit of excitement. Was probably the best drive I have seen in person. Was absolutely amazed that you made it and very impressed with the Jack. Was even more amazed when Cary set off down the
hill to follow after seeing you go through LOL.
....bloody videos.....

Now Adam,
If you listen carefully to the tape you'll hear Moggs say "He'll never get out of there" or something similar.
I replied, and I remember it quite clearly "Don't doubt him for a second Kerry, he'll dance up that
hill like a ballerina".
That's what I really said, f@ckin' oath I did (KB
Wilson).
If you can hear anyone else who sounded like me saying anything to the contrary it wasn't me. True Dinks (N Gunston).
Now you know I wouldn't lie to you Adam.
Cheers,
Jim.

Go the Jack! Go the Jack! Go the Jack!!
Others have testified the the Jacks ability on slippery steep muddy surfaces, even with stock tyres. There have been un-videod claims that the Jack made it up when other stock and not-so stock standard Patrols and LCs have failed - Must have a reasonable LSD and a pretty
well tuned suspensions set up for that type of offroading, as
well as a balanced weight, plenty of torque and power when needed. Or is it that Jack drivers are just better drivers?

p.s. I guess they don't call your Crazie for nothing do they??!!!!

I got the pics, can't see the video bit.. In email was it? But yep, I was thinking that as the chassis was on the mud you were stuck. Amazed that it got out, jealous as hell that you could do it too! It was a bloody good effort.

Jeez I must have missed something here, That looks like a nice clean road on the left side of your truck Bruce, You sure you didn't suffer a steering failure that sent you to the right into that snow drift???
I mean you would not actually drive into that snow drift on purpose and run the risk of requiring a snatch by a can I say it a "Jackaroo". LOL.

Now that looks bloody funny...not because Truckster is bogged...or because a Jackaroo is snatching the Patrol....
.....but because Truckster was bagging Jimbo about (if I remember rightly) depth re: the
water crossing that he got stuck in.
LOL, correct me if I'm wrong, but that aint as deep as Jimbo's
water crossing ;)

One thing I have learnt is not to judge on photos......
His back
wheels were no where to be seen...
Never underestimate the Jack..
