HI, Can anyone tell me please if there are powered caravan sites at the
Billabong Roadhouse/hotel-motel. My parents are leaving for
Broome Monday and would like to know as they would like to stay there, Any help would be appreciated. Cheers :)

HI
The
Billabong roadhouse caravan
park is all powered sites and has been improved considerably . But the motel accommadation leaves a lot to be desired!
Did an overnighter there about three months ago.
Also the
water tank rest area is ok for o/n stop but obviously no power!
You can get
well away from road there.
The overlander is pretty basic and I wouldnt reccommend at all!
Good luck. Brian

The last time that I stopped at the
Billabong I got eaten with midges but further south there is a very good
camping area (about 50Ks). It has
toilets and a solar powered flood light. I always stop there on my way to
Carnarvon. No power though. If the
Billabong charge for their caravan
parking like they do for their fuel, keep driving by.
