Hi
Does anyone know what the road from Adelaide to Echuca is like via the Murray valley as I'm driving there next friday and have never been that way.
Or would it be quicker to stick to the main Adelaide Melbourne route and then drive North to Echuca.
I'll also be returning to Perth the week after with new caravan so would be interested about towing van back through Echuca to Adelaide as I'm visiting friends in Echuca whilst over there.

Hi Brian
I would go via Murray Bridge, Pinaroo, Ouyen, Swan hill, Echuca, good bitumen roads and not as much traffic.
Should be pleasant drive through there at this time of year.

Cheers Pesty

I drove the way Pesty described last April school holidays. It was a great run,,we left Adelaide about 8-30, had lunch in Ouyen, afternoon tea in Swan Hill and were in the Echuca CP and set up at about 6-00pm. It was a far more enjoyable drive form me than going via Melbourne as it was a new route for me. Traffic was light all the way.
