Hi all
Haven't done a Simpson crossing as yet and am considering the next SA school holidays. Was wondering if there are any Explorites that will be crossing the Simpson about that time that we may be able to tag-along with. We are fully self sufficent and are looking for travel companions / guides. I'll forewarn you that we have three small children (bring you earmuffs or rope). Cheers Brad

Even if you dont find anyone heading that way, on the main croos
routes you will see a car an hour during school holidays, and the sand driving isnt that difficult, as long as you are prepared, lower your pressures correctly,
good camp spots are easy to pick from the track, and think about what your doing, you will enjoy it.

Maybe interested West to East but have to get my busted leg and foot right by then. Also need to get to
Melbourne to get our Troopy, buy new tyres, etc.
More importantly, also have to get he approval from the War Office.
Would be the perfect way to get the Troopy home from
Melbourne though. Will keep in touch if we can do it but will not know the health issues for another month yet.
