Hi guys
The windscreen of my 90 series Prado has seen better days & it's time to replace it.
Haven't checked Toyos price yet but am expecting a shock! Any ideas on alternative sources & relative value / cost?
Thanks Graeme

We have just had to replace our windscreen in our GU PAtrol because of 2 star cracks and another 1 that spread across the windscereen after a big trip. Rang around and we got one fitted by Instant Windscreens at a cost of $205 fitted mobile. We got another quote of $335 from another
well known windscreen repairer.
They put in the equivalent of what we had with bands on the side and a coloured area across the top of the screen. It is supposeed to have the same warranty as the more expensive one, Cant complain about hte job fitted at where I work during the day so didnt have to go out of my way.
Would recomend them at this point in time
Cheers

It might be worth talking to your insurance company, I had a thing where for an extra $15 or something I get 1 free windscreen during every insurance period (12 months). It is not classed as a claim as it is descibed as free.
I don't know how they can make money on it but I won't complain.
They got obriens to come out to my work and do it. I remember pricing them for my prado and they varied from about 195 to into the 300's as someone has already said.
