Looking for help.
I'm investigating installing a reversing beeper for my NL Pajero.
Do they make a unit that is built into a tail-light bulb?
I remember reading something about it sometime back, but a search failed to help.
Any advise and ideas welcome.
Regards Loughma.

Yeah I did too, I just found the positive wire that went into the back of the reverse light on one side, cut the wire, joined up the beeper to it ran a wire to the front of the car for a bypass switch, conected it all up worked peice of bleep , about 1/2 hours work. (would be a lot easier if you didn't want the switch, but hey the missus wouldn't let me put it in otherwise!!)

yeah, but there are several makes. the one I bought did't fit into the bayonet socket on my Hilux. Part of the plastic casing fouled on the lip of the socket. But I know there is one make that does fit the Hilux. So keep this in mind when looking for your Pajero that the jolly thing fits.

I replaced both my tail light globes with the combination beeper/light types. Five minutes work to changeoever and they work really good. No trouble with interchanging the globes in my Troopy.

I had one of those in the farm Rodeo and it failed in no time flat, so put a Hella one at 85dB on the back of Moses. It works a treat but is a bit noisy in a near noiseless caravan park when the truck moves forward while you are in bed.

"Did the earth move for you dear?" I asked
