Eric from Cape York Connections
just finished 3 weeks in the cape.
The trip was a good one the weather was realy strange never seen so much rain this time of year.
There were hardley any people around very quiet.
Roscco I caught a few red claw and 1 was about twice the size of that one of yours I thought it was a painted cray at first.
Well mayby not twice the size.
A few of our guests hired a boat out of seisa and got some nice tuna and a couple of sharks.
The idea of taking rubbish and burning
toilet papper is starting to sink in.
Lots of new owners and faces at road houses and even the crog
shop.
The grog laws in my opinon are working
well the kids are looking healthier every day.
I caught 2 good size trevally of the warf at
weipa.
The tracks and crossings were all pretty standard.
Thats all for now.
All the best
Eric

Re Liquor controls on
Cape York
I was told buy a couple of roadhouses during our visit last month (yes we had the rain also) that tour operators are exempt from the restrictions - Is this correct ? We also saw plenty of beautiful healthy indigenous kids - but also the otherside as
well in a couple of spots. It's a great place to visit.
