Mich.
They are brilliant. I have not driven a manual as my local dealer will not be selling them because he has a waiting list on the autos and he thinks the manual control on the auto is better than the manual. should tow ok but I don't like vans. Eric.

Are you serious - your local Mitsubishi dealer will not sell you a manual?

I'd be telling him, look here, i'm the customer, i'll tell you what i want to buy, not the other way around.

I'd then turn around, walk out the door & find another dealer - one that will give me what i want.

Oops, sorry Mich, didn't mean to get you too excited :-) I'm afraid I was just dreaming out aloud. We only have a sad old NK Pajero ('97). The DiD is "Lotto dream material". We test drove one at the 4WD show and they had to drag me out of it kicking and screaming :-).

Can't for the life of me think why anyone would bother with a manual though. The auto DiD is a screamer. Our NK is an auto and even it's the "junior bees knees" :-)

thanks to all the comments, bee-nees i gather they are great,

i test drove a manual exceed today as one of the dealers i have spoken to said he would get one in so we can test drive. i like the manual as i have alway had a manual and feel they suit our needs best. would like to know if any one has fitted ass. to these vechicles and how has the clearance been. i loved the drive today we currently have a 100 series a4.2litre which is very thirsty and guttless.

thanks
