Hi Folks,
Can anyone recommend a place to hire chains in Albury or Wodonga? Trying to facilitate some concurrent activity while the girls are grocery shopping.
Any info greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

JW, Just checked the Albury Wodonga yellow pages. The only place I can found in A-W for chain hire is Brunoskis Ski Hire - 59 High St Wodonga Ph 02 60561388

Do not know exactly where it is but High Street is the main street of Wodonga so cannot be too hard.

Hope this helps

You could try Pauls ski shop Wodonga in Thomas Mitchell drive. Or depending where your going they are available in Mt Bueaty or Bright or Myrtleford. Make sure you ring first to confirm availablitiy. Are you in the local 4wd club?
I have an idea who you may be.

Thanks Madcow.
Unless you are from central QLD, its unlikely that we have met.
We will be on the way to Falls Creek and intend stocking up on groceries in Albury rather than Mt Beauty because we had heard that groceries are dearer there.
I know of a place at Tawonga South but we thought that we could save time by collecting the chains while the girls are shopping.
Thanks again.

Have a great time! Fuel is around $1.20 a litre for petrol and $1.24 for diesel here but I would buy diesel at Tawonga or Mt Bueaty if you are staying up there for a few days.
