Hi Errol,
We stayed there on the 5th of July this year. Peter and Louise Twigg run the place for the local community. The
camp area is good and there is a wood fired boiler for a hot shower. The roadhouse has diesel and ULP, although the ULP has to be hand pumped from 44's. There is also a collection of art from the Spinifex people, plus some wood carvings etc. The store has a small amount of canned food, some auto bits and pieces, and soft drink. They are great people doing a great job for the local owners.
Enjoy your stay.

I concur with the above. Was there just a couple of weeks ago. Don't forget to play footy with the resident dog- BILL. Diesel was $1.70/litre but thats not too bad considering it had to be carried across from
Laverton. The day we were there the tanker has busted the rear
suspension near
Neale Junction- but there was plenty of fuel available. The diesel is now out of tanks and the petrol out of drums.
Very welcome showers. It is encouraging to see a project such as this. I assume it was built with govt assistance.

Hello signman,
Peter Trigg told us that the Irlkulka roadhouse was an initiative of the Spinifex community and not government funded. Either way, it's a great initiative for the area.
Cheers
