Would anyone have any information about the Millard micro caravan,or any other small pop top that is suitable to go around australia in. Which caravan frames are the best wood or aluminium?

No specific info about the micro, but if you want to stick to the bitumen roads then any of the known brands will do it. The other thing you need to think about are is it big enough for you to live in for the time you are out. Has it got enough
water capacity to let you spend a day or two independent of a Van
Park or
water supply.
Aluminium Vs Timber frames is an age old argument and it really depends more on whether the van meets your needs rather than what the frame is made of. As far as I know Millard uses aluminium frames.

Millard micro was not the best
fridge installations in the Micro render the fridge next to usesless
wood and aluminium are ok as long as both are contructed properly
I have a rear door small 12' 6" x 6' 6"
Roma 15 year old which is magic
many brands are good the Micro was one in a line that was not the best and not recommended to buy s/h
