Hi, I am in the process of purchasing a second hand software. Will this still work with my GSP if someone else has already used it or not? What happens if we both have it on at the same time? I am just curious, because I have been told by my GPS dealer, that once the registration code has been entered, you cannot transfer it. Please let me know. Thanks Mark

Mark - The dealer is having a lend of you. The software can be loaded onto as many computers as you like - Once loaded the software will no allow more than two gps serial numbers to be entered (serial number is linked to map during map creation process). This restriction is overcome by uninstalling the software and re-installing again. They also claim on the CD cover that the CD needs to be in computer Disc Drive for program to work..again - not true (well not on all the compurters I have had)

So yes the second hand CD will work fine. DiscoverAus is a very good product (when compared to not having it) and in my opinion, worth the money.

Cheers
Greg
I sent one final shout after him to stick to the track, to which he replied “All right,” That was the last ever seen of Gibson - E Giles 23 April 1874

Hi ozyoyo, I use both the discover aus and desert tracks for my fx324 magellan both of which I purchased second hand. No probs at all. The desert tracks software is excellent but at $300 retail is criminal. So go second hand

Hi ozyoyo,

can confirm that software works on as many pc's/GPS as you want. Only criminal that someone actually want to sell it to you. How much does he sting you?
