Rob,
There have been postings on this previously and if I recall correctly they were not supporting them.

Believe there were around 3 responses, all negative.

I think they can also get in the way or impact on the type/size of roof rack that you put on.

hi Rob,

we were on the trip with Glenn with our 100 series, and Al was impressed with the way the dust deflector worked on Glenn's dad's car that he is considering getting one for ours.

We have one and they do stop some of the dust settling on the back window but we are always packed to the rafters and cannot see out the back. Probably worth it if you can see out the back window when you are travelling - unless it is covered in dust and then you could not see out...but if there was no dust and you were travelling and could see out and then came to a dusty part and then the deflector would keep the dust off ....well off part of the window!! Senseless dribble Melissa called this!

I all ways thought that the mane role of dust deflectors was to direct air not only onto the rear window but allso filling the void of your car at high speed saveing a little mount of drag on the car and saving you money in fuel.

I remember on my 60 series I took the defectors off to paint the roof and gee didnt my fuel useage go out the window. It wasnt as bad as driving with a roof rack but nearly.

Hi RobEG
We have one on ours and it seems to work Ok the only draw back as someone has mentioned if your roof rack is loaded and the load is any where near the back you can only open the tail gate slightly, I have already cracked mine twice, apart from this the dust is definately less than without.
