Another media beat up with the 'prince of pain' Harold speaking out about his favorite subject. At least they had an opposing view from a memebr of the 4WD association to help balance the discussion. I wished that he had not kept taken his eyes off the road to speak with the reporter.
It was interesting to see Harold wife in her 4WD backing into the
carpark tree just to get the footage right. Good onya Harold.

I reckon a dealer somewhere had a used 4wd returned today after a test-drive with some minor damage than Channel 9 paid for...

The front page of our local paper had some chick complaining how she feels intimidated by four wheel drives etc when she drives her little daihatsu around... and the local radio was doing a phone poll on whether 4x4's are dangerous on the road... funny thing is that I am the president of the local 4x4 club and I wasn't contacted for comment nor did they return my call when I left a message on the number they were getting people to call.... Hmmmm biased opinion or what?
I reckon these people need to get a life! If they are so intimidated by four wheel drives on the road then maybe it is time for them to reconsider their driving abilities and maybe hang up their car keys.... It would be like us whinging about trucks or delivery vans blah blah blah..
I was shown the paper by a work mate and I told him that I put the big
wheels on the fourbie so I can run b*tches like that over! the look of shock on his face was priceless...

The one we are getting lately is that drivers of midsized cars , are concerned about their safety if the run into a 4wd , but have no concern about their safety if they run into a compact.
Hypocritical.
Cant bet the law of physics.
